We need your help
Dear EHS Community,
Thank you to everyone that has volunteered to be nominated for a position on the Eastchester High School PTA Board!
Unfortunately, we have not received any nominations for the role of President.
Why does Eastchester High School PTA need a President?
- Without a President the PTA is not allowed to continue
- No contracts with any vendors can be signed, as this is the President’s responsibility which means the FASHION SHOW is in jeopardy
- All existing assets and funds will be absorbed into NYS PTA
The outgoing President will support and mentor you the entire year to ensure you have a smooth transition.
Other programs that will cease to exist at EHS effective 1st July 2026:
- Therapy Dogs
- Senior events
- Grants for Clubs & Classrooms (i.e. robotics, Multicultural Day, Jazz Co clothing, auditorium sound system)
- Senior Scholarships
- Donations (i.e. Relay for Life, English Forum, Debate Club, and Player’s Club)
- Membership Toolkit communications and directory
- Teacher Appreciation Events
We strongly urge YOU, to seriously consider volunteering for this vital role in order for the Eastchester Highschool PTA to be able to continue. Please click the link below for the job description and to apply.
