As summer approaches we’ve decided to keep any/all fashion show updates on our website. Please check in periodically as we will update every couple of weeks.

The EHS Fashion Show planning is underway. We have secured the date and venue and we have dozens of volunteers working to get things in motion for our ONE event which will take place on Monday, November 4th.

We are most in need of the following at this time:

–Empty Baskets. If you have any baskets to spare, we’d love them!  Please deliver them to 22 Buena Vista Road.  They can be left on the front porch.

– Solicitation Committee Members.  There are 3 Solicitation Chairpersons in place, but we will need about 10-12 people to join this committee and help secure donations from local organizations and businesses. While the event takes place in November, some volunteers like to “hit the streets” early and get started during the summer months.  The bulk of this work is done in September and early October.  

–Freshman/Sophomore Parent Volunteers. If you have a rising 9th, 10th or 11th grader and you’re interested in learning how this event comes together, starting off with a “Night of the Event” role is a perfect way to learn.  It’s also nice to have a sneak peek before you’re a senior parent.

What went on in July?

Class Baskets: Donations are coming in slowly. We will blast the SignUpGenius out every week starting in August. We added a new payment option for these $10 (student) and $20 (family) donations on the Membership Toolkit platform for families who want to use this option to donate. https://ehspta.membershiptoolkit.com/store/14938

Solicitations: Our Solicitations Chairpersons met to get their list of possible donors together and start to get donations from local businesses. Some sample prizes from last year can be found below. You can find that SignUpGenius here.

Next will be decorations and design, bringing the theme to life. In the first weeks of school, all seniors will be invited to the kickoff meeting to learn about the event and all student/parent information including important dates will be available via the student packet.
