Join our experts for this important virtual program on social media and the fear of missing out, and how it can adversely affect students and their ability to cope.

Topics covered will include: 

  • The prevalence of social media use among children and teens
  • Understanding the impact of social media on your child
  • The importance of educating your child on responsible usage and safety
  • Strategies for supervision

About the experts: Dr. Sara Fruchter and Dr. Aidan Schmitt are psychologists with NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health who specialize in working with children and adolescents and the ways that social media impacts their mental health.

This program will be held in partnership with the Public Schools of the Tarrytownsand will be available in both English and Spanish.
