From time to time, we share resources that we find helpful to students and parents. Here are a few that some have found useful in recent school years.
As you know, we are in our second year working with Jump Start Tutoring, a local tutoring center.
Last year, we had guest speakers from Stand Out for College speak about community service at our June meeting.

We’ve also heard from parents who have used Test Takers Prep, which has a location in Scarsdale.

Bronxville/Eastchester/Tuckahoe Stronger Together hosts programs and publishes newsletters that might be of interest to our parent community as well. Many are related to health, wellness and lifestyle.

Applerouth has a lot of great information, zoom presentations and in-person classes and workshops available for students. Recently they ran one on Executive Functioning and another on the SAT/ACT tests. Coming up this week is one about College Life.

Another one this week: On Thursday 10/20, Carnegie Prep has a presentation for 9th graders:
Lynn Carnegie is the owner of Carnegie Prep. Her personal touch is unmatched and there’s never any pressure to use her services.

Andy Lockwood gives lots of free information about the financial piece. Webinars.
Our local libraries also host events that are useful for students in high school.
